Research franchises that involve working solo, such as business consulting and training (for instance, ActionCOACH), oven cleaning (Ovenu), or mobile sales (Mac Tools). You’ll not be entirely alone – the franchisor will provide training and support to keep your growth on track. You’re a natural team player – and manager. Check out franchises that allow you to get into management, (such as Revive!, Agency Express, or Refresh Renovations). Normally franchisors expect you to grow your business by adding extra operators, so you become the manager. Look for franchises with management training. You’re big company boss material. Look for franchises where you run a team from day one, such as well-known QSRs (McDonald’s), gyms (Anytime Fitness), or coffee outlets (Costa). You’ll need senior management experience and a big investment. Once your first location is operating, you’re usually expected to open more. You’re a homeworking hero.
